Organizational planning has two purposes, namely protection and agreements (protective and affirmative). Protective intent is to minimize risk by reducing uncertainty about business conditions and explain the consequences of managerial actions associated. Affirmative goal is to increase the level of organizational success. In addition, the purpose of planning is to establish a coordinated effort within the organization. Absence of planning is usually accompanied by the absence of coordination and the emergence inefficiency.
However, the fundamental purpose of planning is to help the organization achieve its objectives. Planning intention is "to expedite the achievement of effort and purpose". Another purpose of the marketing plan revolves around the fundamental purpose of this.

Program planning has many advantages. First, it helps entrepreneurs oriented to the future. Entrepreneurs are forced to look out of the normal daily problem for projecting what they will face in the future. Secondly, the coordination of the decision.
